About the story

Celer is a friendly dog. He's so friendly that he has a friend on each one of the seven hills of Rome! Not only does Celer enjoy visiting his friends on the seven hills, but he also enjoys the opportunity to cut loose and just be a dog without anyone telling him "DON'T!"

This novella is geared towards Novice level students in the first few months of a Latin I class.

About the author

Hillary Long graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classics, Masters of Philosophy in Classical Archaeology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in Classics from Newnham College, Cambridge University. She lives in the Texas Hill Country with her family and teaches Latin to fabulous students at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Austin.
